We are looking for a Volunteer to support and develop our Forum for Carers and invite you to apply for the position which starts on the 6th january 2014.
The main purpose of this role will be to assist with the day-to-day running and development of our Forum and website, which will include editing and uploading content. There is also room in the role to develop your creative side either through blog writing or design work.
Role includes:
• Implementing changes and editing website through CMS
• Proof reading and uploading content
• Developing and writing content for the website
• Driving traffic and monitoring usage of website
Person Specification
• Experience in working with html and coding for website
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Experience in writing blog and/or online design work
• Understanding of mental health issues
• Able to work on own initiative and as a member of a team
• Flexible approach with a give-it-a-go attitude
• Positive, energetic and capable of being a great ambassador for the charity
• Interest in Succeed’s aims & goals to help those with Eating Disorders
Applicants are not expected to have come from the field of Mental Health, experience or knowledge would be beneficial but not essential.
The position is for three months part-time; 2-3 days per week.
Volunteer Internships are unpaid; interns will receive a stipend of £5 per day to cover travel and lunch. The Internship will be based at The Succeed Foundation premises in South Kensington, London.
