The full version of the introduction is not included on the DVD:
We are currently trying to assess why this fault has occurred, but until we can address this, you can view the full length version of the Introduction on our forum.

Subtitles are not present on all of the scenarios:
We are aware that subtitles are missing on some of the scenarios. We decided to use what we had at the time but we will rectify these issues when we will create more DVDs.
Cannot access the ‘Advanced Learning’ section:
We apologise for the delay to the opening of the forum. The ‘Advanced Learning’ section mentioned on the DVD is now accessible you can also have access to the forum along with other top tips about how to get the most out of the DVD.
It would be beneficial to have some additional information - Length of videos:
We are not able to address this issue on the DVDs we have currently ordered but this may help :

Some scenarios were over the top:
We will include a link on the forum describing the motivation behind the videos and why they were created in that way. Some of the scenarios may have appeared over the top, but we did this to emphasise and reinforce the behaviours.
Did not like that the narrator turned sideways:
We cannot address this issue on this DVD, but when another edition will be made, we will ensure he is always facing the screen. Overall there was positive feedback about the narrator.
Why give feedback when the DVD has already been distributed:
It is good to gain feedback so that we can publish information on the website so that customers can get as much information as possible, even if it is not included on the DVD. Also, it gives us an opportunity to improve for future editions of the DVD. All feedback is incredibly useful to ensure that carers can get the most out of the DVD as well as information the DVD may not include.
The navigation menu is confusing:
We will publish a thread that explains how to use the DVD – emphasising the importance of watching the Learning chapter before playing the DVD to ensure the user is familiar with the animal analogies and how the DVD is set out.
Some of the audio/video is out of sync - has this been fixed:
This DVD is our first attempt and it is unlikely we will be able to edit this on the current DVDs.
Are we assuming that carers have read the book?( book :Skills-based learning for caring for a loved one with an eating disorder by Prof Janet Treasure)
No, the DVD is aimed to be used by anyone. We can publish a broad overview of the NMM and MI on the website . On the ‘how to use the DVD section’ we can emphasise watching the learning chapter which outlines what the animals analogies mean, before they watch the DVD.
